Our members form the backbone of our organisation and provide the input to make philanthropy research in Europe relevant and visible. Also, by sharing their work at the biennial research conference, academic knowledge about philanthropy is developed and disseminated. To further broaden and develop philanthropy research in Europe, and to develop knowledge sharing through other platforms ERNOP invests invest in developing structural relationships with supporting institutions within Europe.
By formalizing the relationship with institutions that support ERNOPs mission, aims and activities, i.e. to advance, coordinate and promote philanthropy research in Europe, ERNOP will be able to invest in developing strong and relevant conference programmes related to philanthropy research. Second, it will make research output available through an online series of seminars aimed to share key research findings with the European philanthropy sector.
We are very pleased that the Fondation de France and the Compagnia di San Paolo decided to formalize their relationship with ERNOP. They join the King Baudouin Foundation, which engaged in a structural relationship through Transnational Giving Europe in 2019. With the support, they enable ERNOP to develop it’s organization and to focus on it’s mission to advance, coordinate and promote philanthropy research in Europe.
